Ayu, founder and creative director of STUDIOSUMA, is as Balinese as her name. Born and raised on the island, she grew up around fabric and thread, in a culture where making things by hand, carefully and without hurry, is simply how things are done.
After years of tailoring for others, she opened her own studio to do it her way: personal fittings, honest advice, and garments cut and sewn entirely here in Bali. Nothing is outsourced and nothing is off the rack. Your suit takes shape minutes from where you are measured, in the studio that bears her name, under her eye and to her standard.
